At Mini Makers Australia, we believe creativity isn’t just a fun activity for kids - it’s how they learn, express themselves, and make sense of the world.

This whole idea started from the classroom.

As a former educator, I spent years watching children light up when learning became hands-on and story-driven. I noticed that some of the most incredible moments weren’t from learning from worksheets or instructions on a board - they were when a simple story sparked imagination, and that imagination turned into something real: a puppet, a paper scene, a little crafted world held carefully in small hands.

But I also saw the challenge: busy educators, time-poor parents, and a constant pressure to “prep more, do more, plan more.” Creative learning often got squeezed out, not because it wasn’t valued, but because it wasn’t always easy to access.

So I created Mini Makers Australia to change that.

We design story-based craft templates and video tutorials for kids that combine narrative and making in one simple, ready-to-use experience. Each resource is built so that a story leads the way, and the craft becomes the natural extension of that story. Not a separate activity, but part of the same imaginative journey.

A child might step into a forest adventure, build the characters as they go, and finish with a handmade piece that holds the memory of that story. It’s learning without it feeling like “learning”, which is exactly how young minds thrive.

Our resources are made with care, practicality, and real classroom experience behind them. They’re designed to be:
